It was a pleasure for the Cousins team, alongside Hill Group UK, to support Careers Work Experience Week as part of our involvement on the Ham Close development, volunteering our time and sharing our experience within the construction industry.
We visited The Kingston Academy to give students an insight into who we are, the projects we deliver, and the wide range of opportunities available in the construction sector. Alongside a brief presentation, we provided some hands on experience with setting out and cutting in, giving students the chance to try practical skills they may never have encountered before.
The students were inquisitive, receptive, and fully engaged throughout the session. Their enthusiasm, willingness to get involved, and confidence in taking on a completely new challenge was fantastic to see.
