A new 6 story building known as the BEACH , Births, emergencies and critical care & children’s health, was completed March 2025.
The hospital consists of 110 additional beds over 4 levels, and an enhanced emergency department with new catering facility on the ground floor.
The building has been designed to be environmentally friendly featuring a new energy centre and a net zero carbon design.
